Cost per day in Bali for budget trip

BALI, a dream destination for travel loving people. May be you are a travel lover but you have a budget problem. Here I am going to give you an idea about your per day expenditure in Bali as a tourist. These ideas are from my own experience of September 2019.

Food cost:

The local Balinese people literally love to have rice 3 times a day. If you are in a budget trip, than try to love rice. Local people buy rice with some curries (there will be options like fish, vegetable, beef, chicken) by IDR 15000 (appx. $1.06). However, for you as a foreigner, you will have to pay IDR 25000 (Appx. $1.77).

Therefore, for three meals a day the cost comes: $1.77*3 = $5.31.

You can add water, cold drinks and coconuts and may be some chips by adding more $3 or $4.

So, the overall cost for food in a day comes around $10.

*** Buy drinks, water, chips and all other things from big super markets. Otherwise it will cost you more.

Accommodation cost:

You will not believe how cheap it is. You can find hostels in Bali by $3. Even I found some like $2 per day for a single person. By $6-$8 you will find a very good hostel in Bali. Even for couple you can find hotel rooms by $12-$18 with swimming pool and breakfast. So, I guess you are pretty much clear about the accommodation facts. Bali has accommodation for all types of budget.

Transportation cost:

If you are a budget traveler, than do not forget to take your driving license while travelling to Bali. You can hire a scooter there and ride by yourself. Per day minimum rental cost for a scooter is IDR 70000 (appx. $5). You have to buy the fuel.

Therefore, it might cost $10 maximum per day for your whole day transport.

*** For other random expenses you can make a budget of $5.

*** All the expenses for entrance to the tourist attractions or parking is based on destination.

So, average per day cost in Bali for a budget trip is :

Food = $10

Accommodation = $3

Transport = $10

Random expenses = $5

Overall = $(10+3+10+5) = $28

***** The sign ‘$’ refers to USD.

IF YOU ARE NOT A BUDGET TRAVELER, THAN JUST FORGET ABOUT YOUR ARTICLE. BUT IF YOU ARE, THAN IT IS GOING TO HELP YOU A LOT.

Thank you,

Be safe and keep your surrounding clean
